Leon Stead- Senior Pastor
Leon joined the team at Narrabeen as a Student Pastor in 1998 whilst still studying at Sydney Missionary & Bible College. In 2000 he came on full-time as the youth pastor. In 2006 he shifted into a general pastor role and was ordained that year having completed his accreditation studies at Morling College. Leon was called to take on the Senior Pastor role in May 2007. Leon is married to Heidi (June 1997) and they have four kids: Samuel (Jan ’01), Charlotte (Jun ’03), Madeleine (Dec ’04) and Jessica (Oct ’06). Life is fun & full! Leon is passionate about sharing God’s Word with people in clear & creative ways. Discipleship and evangelism are the two things that excite him most in ministry. Interests: reading, cooking, fishing & camping.

Mark Adam- Associate PastorMark joined the team at Narrabeen in 2008 after serving for seven years at Toronto Baptist Church and 6 years with The Anglican Church, Sydney Diocese. Mark studied at SMBC and Presbyterian Theological College before completing his BTh and accreditation studies at Morling College. Mark was ordained in 2006 with the Baptist Union of NSW & ACT.
Mark is married to Susan and they have two kids: Tyler (1997), and Cody (1999). His passion is to share the Gospel with others, to help Christians grow in Jesus by studying God’s Word and to reach out to the local community and their world with the love of Jesus. Interests: Mark’s interests can be summed up in the following. If it swims he’ll catch it (he loves fishing), if it’s ‘going off’ he’ll be out there (he loves surfing) and if tastes good, he’s in! (self explanatory). |

Travis Mundy- Associate Pastor (Youth)
Travis joined the team at Narrabeen in July 2009 bringing with him many years of experience in youth ministry. Travis received a BA in Biblical Studies from Azusa Pacific University, USA in 2002 and further completed his Master of Divinity degree through Fuller Theological Seminary in 2008. Travis is married to Shauna (May 2005), has one daugther, Ellie (born 2011), and two dogs (who are like children to him). Travis is passionate to see people get excited about participating in God’s Kingdom life. He is commited to developing relationships and loves hanging out with youth. Travis is a gifted communicator of God’s Word, seeking to make it clear and relevant to today’s culture. Interests: Leading worship, being mediocre at sports, playing video games and being invited over for dinner. |
