One of the main points I took away from kyck this year was that we are not of this world and that as christians we need to act different even if it means being rejected by the world. Because even if we are rejected by the world, you are accepted by god. You are never closer to Jesus than when you are suffering because of his name.

We continue reading through Acts together in our Daily Bible Reading Journal. In this weeks video we talk about the core parts of being a christian from day #1 of Christianity and briefly talk about the role that healing plays in the early church and now.
Many people say that there probably is a God out there somewhere, but that he stopped paying attention to what was happening in the world a long time ago. Like a builder who builds a house and leave it to slowly deteriorate, they say that God might’ve made everything, but he shortly after left it alone. “God is absent”, they say.
But the Bible says God isn’t like that!
