Were Not Our Hearts Burning Within Us - from the very beginning of the human story there has been a crying out - for healing, for restoration, for all things being made right.

At the end of Luke’s gospel, two people walk away from Jerusalem - from the death of a dear friend. They were followers of Jesus and thought he might be the answer to all of our deepest longings. But he was gone and so was hope. Until someone walked along the road with them and spoke into their story and every story. They soon realized it was Jesus who entered their space and they said “were not our hearts burning within us as he walked along the road and spoke with us.” Jesus has that same effect on is today. He enters in, walks beside us and transforms our story.

This series takes us along the road with Jesus to find our stories and hope in him and find our hearts burning because of it.
