What is the purpose of this group?

To have a loving, supportive and confidential meeting place that is hosted by our faith community where those challenged with mental health issues, [and/or their families and friends,] can share and can hear how faith and reliance on Jesus helps, comforts and brings healing.

Our mental health support group with be:

  1. Place where people can share in an atmosphere of love and encouragement.
  2. Place that will bring people together who are facing similar challenges
  3. Place to get valuable information and resources
  4. Place where people can be healed and restored
  5. Place where people can do life and journey together

And like everything we do at NBC it will be a place that points to Christ.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1 3-4
